WARNING: From our experience, parcels sent to Offices / Commercial Addresses have a higher tendency to go missing in the mail. We strongly recommend selecting Registered Mail if you choose to send your parcels to these addresses as we will not be liable for lost mail.

Free Normal Mail (Local Only)

All normal parcels will be dispatched via Singpost for mailing. Please allow your parcels up to 5 working days to reach you once they have been shipped. Do note that weekends are not working days for the post office and that the weight limit for each normal parcel is at 2kg.

As tracking is not available for this, The Ordinary Co will not be held liable for any lost parcels/ damaged items mailed out via this mode of postage. Please give an allowance of up to three weeks for any lost mail to be returned to The Ordinary Co.

Do kindly note that there is a minimum order of SGD25.00 to qualify for the Free Normal Mail delivery option. Orders below the value of SGD25.00 will be chargeable at SGD1.50 per shipment.


Registered Mail (Smartpac)

The parcels will be dispatched via Singpost (Smartpac) and tracking numbers will be given to you once the item has been shipped.

Do allow 24 hours from the time the parcel is shipped for the tracking number to be activated.

For local orders, please allow your parcels up to 5 working days to reach you. Do note that weekends and public holidays are not working days.

For international orders (Malaysia & Brunei), parcels will arrive between 5-10 working days.

For international orders (Rest of the World), do allow the parcel 3-4 weeks for the parcels to reach you.

Please note that the weight limit for each registered parcel is at 2kg.

Express/ Courier Service (Local Only)

For local orders, the courier will deliver the parcel within 1 working day after it has been processed for delivery. Please allow an additional 1 working day for order processing and verification. Do kindly place your order before 12pm on the working day to receive it by the next day. Orders placed after 12pm will reach you within 2 working days.

A tracking number will be provided to you via email once the parcel has been shipped and require a signature for the parcel to be delivered.

There will also be an additional charge for re-delivery should nobody be present to receive the package. Please provide your contact number under your address so the courier can reach you in any unforeseen circumstances. Do also indicate in your order comments if you would prefer your package to be delivered in the Morning (1000H-1200H), Afternoon (1500H-1700H) or Evening (1700H-2000H). If no specific timing is given, we will indicate to the courier to have it delivered in the Evening. 

XMAS EXPRESS: Please note that orders placed via XMAS Express Mail on 21 December 2018 will be mailed via AM Mail and have no tracking. Please place your orders before 2359H to ensure that they arrive by Christmas. 

International Mail (Malaysia & Brunei)

There is a fixed flat rate of SGD5.00 (RM15.00~) for postage to Malaysia & Brunei regardless of the number of items ordered. Do kindly allow 5-10 working days for the package to reach you.

Shipping is free of charge for orders above SGD100.00 (RM300.00~)

International Mail (Rest of the World)

There is a fixed flat rate of SGD10.00 (USD7.00~) for postage to the Rest of the World (excluding Malaysia & Brunei) regardless of the number of items ordered. Do kindly allow 3-4 weeks for the package to reach you.

Shipping is free of charge for orders above SGD200.00 (USD150.00).

Is there the option for Self-Collection?

Unfortunately at the moment we do not provide Self-Collection services under any circumstance. If you are concerned about your items getting lost, or require them quickly, we recommend using the Express mailing service which enables both tracking and next day delivery. For more information on Express mailing, kindly refer to the table at the top of this page.


Do you ship to my international destination ?

Certainly! Do see the table above for the rates.


Has my order been shipped out ?

You will be notified via email once the item has been shipped out. For orders containing both backorder and instock items, the entire shipment will only be mailed out once the backorder items arrive. If you wish to have the instock items shipped first, do indicate it when checking out by selecting the option "Normal Mail - Send My Instocks First" (fees apply).


My order has not arrived yet 

Orders will arrive as per the estimated delivery timeline stated in the table above. Please allow an additional 1-2 working days for order processing and verification. Do kindly note that weekends and Public Holidays are not working days for the post office.

Please make sure that the delivery address is correct as we are unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you. In the event, an insufficient or incorrect delivery address has been provided, an additional fee will be charged for reshipping the item out.

Do avoid providing us with commercial / office addresses as there is a higher probability of the items going missing and we are not liable if items sent to these addresses go missing.

All Registered and Express deliveries which are handled by Singapore Post and TA-Q-BIN respectively comes with a tracking number for each shipment. You will receive a delivery confirmation email with the tracking number for your parcel so you can follow its journey.

Why is there an extra fee for shipping over my instock items first (preorders to be shipped separately) ?

If you wish to receive your in stock items before your preorder items, you have to pay an extra fee (dependent on the shipping option selected by you) to cover the additional labour and packaging it requires to deliver your items twice.

Local Normal Shipping - SGD 1.50 (first shipment above SGD 25.00 is free!) 

Local Registered shipping - SGD 4.50 (2.25*2)

We also provide an extra service of prioritising your backorder if you pay this extra $1.50 to have your instocks sent first. Thus, you may occasionally receive the backorder item with the instocks if we have extra buffer stock of particular item. You can get then enjoy your item sooner than expected! 

Will I be charged customs, taxes or import duties (international orders only) ? 

Any customs, taxes or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. 

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. In rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

How do I ensure that my package is sent in the special TOC gift wrapping?

If you are ordering several items that require individual wrapping, do indicate while checking out in your Shopping Cart to "ADD" Gift Wrapping (fees apply) per item so that we know how many items you require wrapped. You may read more about our Gift Wrapping options here.
